I enjoy using it. It is active with a recent 1.0 version which brought some great functionalities.

What makes it standout from other EDA tools is how clear and easy it is to pickup, it has an intuitive UI. It also plays nicely with version control tools as the library files are specifically designed such that making changes to them make sense from a version control POV and can be diffed clearly.

It has big ambitions and the dev team is both competent and listening for feedback. It is promising!

Working well with version control is such a killer feature!

Certain platforms (not necessarily in the EDA space) like to make 5000 line diff after just opening a project and thinking about changing a comment

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback back from someone who has used it. 🙂

What's the difference between this and kicad?

Doing something with Kicad has been on my to-do list for a while

This is much simpler than kiCAD, but it is also much less powerful and the libraries are very incomplete.

However, it would be just fine for most hobby PCBs!

It very much makes me feel like EagleCAD from before The Bastards killed it. I wish the libraries were bigger.
