Wouldn't cannibalism be more in regards to the derivation of the food? Chemical makeup wise, sure we are a large portion of water ingesting water, but genetically we also share lots of DNA with bananas. Neither of these also affect us the way cannibalism does so, well, I'm not sure either quite qualify. There's a little irony there for sure, though. Not much iron, though.
