I will always abhor this game for being the reason the final installment of the Deus Ex franchise didn't come out...
Why? Guardians of the Galaxy is what they were working on. This game is why Shadow of the Tomb Raider was mid.
Why would you unrelease a game? Licencing issues?
It's most likely licensing, plus the live service functionality. People are saying on Steam that the post-launch content won't work without the live service functionality.
The latest update straight from the developers claims everything is going to remain accessible, unless I'm missing something the posters there seem to be operating on older info.
The most modest licensing agreements for games last 5 years. Likely they just want to pull the plug on the servers for being unprofitable.
I had it for Stadia and it was refunded when they closed, but for $4 I might buy it honestly. The "progression" was super flawed but the actual gameplay was fun.
The campaign is worth $4. The rest of the game was kinda meh, but the campaign was really entertaining.
How long is the campaign? Just wondering if it'll be worth the time as well.
In the 12-15 hour range if I remember correctly, but it's been a bit.

I played the Kamala campaign and had lots of fun. Got bored on the Kate Bishop campaign and didn’t continue.
I got it and I am having a lot of fun honestly, but they say it gets repetitive... maybe that's fine for me as I usually play the same shit over and over? And in short bursts as well!
So, has somebody managed to mod the missing Spider-Man missions into the PC version of the game?
As far as I searched no, and one of the few modders for it got C&D'd
