This illustrates just how dominant the Premier League has become in terms of finances. Even teams that fight relegation in the Premier League can poach players from the likes of Eintracht Frankfurt, Olimpique de Marseille, Athletic Club de Bilbao or Atalanta Bergamo, all of which regularly play in the Champions League.

Would probably tell about the same story but they should go off of what was spent for the players and wages because English players and players in England won't leave for somewhere else once they get that contract and get overestimated.
For example Bilbao who I was following closely this season have Vivian and Sancet on very long and rather large contracts and high clauses because they would do great at top teams. That's not even mentioning Nico Williams who would all easily be worth around 150M+ combined.
See, Spurs were the underdog the whole time!
