Here's my entry. Would have liked a longer exposure than this but it was just taken on my phone so no manual control.

@Zagorath Taken Sunday, at Sandgate, looking towards the Recliffe bridge

Alt-Text: Dusk over perfectly still water under a blue and gold sky, silhouetted distant trees splitting the scene

Maybe it's a Kbin UX issue? On Lemmy I can do it as shown in this screenshot.

PS: could you please reply to this comment to confirm you've seen it? I'm concerned that if you can't leave your own image, you might also be unable to see mine.

Also, just to test something, the syntax for inline images seems to be ![](image_url), so here's an inline Imgur pic of Cr Andrew Wines being cute:

Federation with kbin is broken all over.

@Zagorath I can click the link to see both images, but I don't see either embedded

Just to confirm, the picture itself must be taken this week?

It's not a super serious thing, but that's generally the idea. To get people out there taking photos every week so they've got something to share.

Especially for this first one I think we can be a little loose with that though.

Ah right right, awesome, love the idea!

So, this was taken in Redcliffe on Saturday. I'm not sure whether that counts as "Brisbane" or "this week", but I don't care. Close enough :)

Yeah the rules are pretty loose, but I think even the strictest interpretation of them would say this is fine. It's after last Friday and it's in the greater Brisbane region.

I love how the foremost bird has this intense-seeming look on its face!

I just realised there were no bin chickens in that photo!

@Ada Wow, that is such a great portrait of a moorhen!

@Zagorath

Taken last Saturday at Redcliffe. I'm not sure it qualifies as "this week" or "Brisbane" but I don't care! :P
