So, I live in the UK and I'm on some probably endless waiting list to start talking to people about things, but I am also financially privileged and if I can use that to expedite my process in some way, that would improve my quality of life tenfold.

My cry for help, is, what can I do privately? How do I do it safely? Are there any "official" private sources for anything?

I am interested in UK centric advice for (but not limited to):

  • voice feminisation
  • HRT in an environment where I can regularly have someone with degrees in this shit tell me that my body is doing the right things
  • related to the above, fertility support (in the scenario I want to have kids biologically)
  • diagnosis of gender dysphoria
  • any other "superficial" feminzation
  • I don't want to sexually transition, I'm keeping the tool

Thanks in advance, blahaj lemmy

I don't live in the UK but I have general advice. You can find videos on YouTube for voice feminization or you can buy lessons online. Also if you want sperm banking try to get that before your HRT appointment or else you will have to wait a bit longer before you can start. I skipped out on sperm banking so that's all I really know about it, but I recommend looking into it now if you want to start HRT sooner than later.

I've been using gender GP for a year now. It costs a bit to get started but it's fairly quick and they have options for private blood tests and the like. I get my prescription from them and take it to boots to get it fulfilled. I've had no issues with them so far.

Beehaw is having a rough time so I'm on here now. Thank you so much for the gendergp recommendation, wow, this is incredible. I don't know how I didn't find this in my search

Check out Wayne Goss for makeup. Someone mentioned on another thread and his ability to teach it I have not seen elsewhere. For voice, check out Trans Voice Lessons on YouTube. If you would like vocal warmup papers I got from my voice therapist, DM me.

Thank you! I will definitely check out Wayne Goss

I'll dm you about the warmup papers, that sounds really valuable. I saw a few wonderful seeming voice teachers on YouTube so hopefully that takes me some of the way. I'd value having a consistent relationship with someone to help me so I think I'm going to continue looking for a 1:1 situation
