Most Steam Deck games aren't $80 a pop so definitely bad. Also you can run regular Linux applications on a steam deck and use it basically like a tablet.
I viewed it as a good thing for keeping the Steam Deck a good purchase for new games and especially future PC handhelds. I’m hoping for a Steam Deck lite. Similar or better performance UDNA based Steam Deck that targets a lower TDP limit, smaller chassis and cooling. Get it to Nintendo Switch 2 weight range
Performance might be similar, but console games tend to be more optimized, so it should be a good thing.
Switch 2 is already getting stuff that the SD can barely run, so I wouldn't be too worried.
