I tried ortholinear for a month at home and a week at work but it never clicked for me. Still a great build.
Mechanical Keyboards
Are you addicted to the clicking sounds of your beautiful and impressive mechanical keyboard?
If so, this community is for you!
Here you can discuss everything about mechanical keyboards (and only mechanical keyboards).

Is that a Lamy Safari?
I never understood how a keyboard with such few buttons can get work done 😅
Layers, lots of layers. I generally only use 3 layers on a regular basis and once you get used to it it's hard to go back for general typing.
That is a beautiful Planck
Very nice. Is that maple case custom-made? Where did you order? Thanks.
I'll admit that it looks cool, but man...I just have a hard time seeing how that could possibly be functional.
Very nice! I also have a Planck at work and at home. You should also go and check out /c/fountainpens!
I don't know if MechanicalHeadPens has been created as a community yet, maybe I'll create one unless someone has a link.
I have a Preonic at home that I swap to occasionally but every time I open a game I always reach for my staggered. The Preonic also has Kailh Box Navy Thick Clicks so it's not conducive to gaming at all in my opinion, I loved the switches when I first got them but I've grown out of them.
I tried searching, and it doesn't look like there's a MechanicalHeadPens community yet. The only thing that comes up is your comment. Both of my Plancks have Gateron Black Inks. I tried it on the first one, and loved it so much that I just used it on the second one that I made!
Love the case!
Thank you, it was my first try at hand routing a case. I wish I would have gone a little bit deeper but the jig and router bit I used limited the depth.
