I always tune into Casey Newton and Kevin Roose's podcast to get my latest fix of AI hype, now that they've moved on from crypto hype and multiverse hype. Can't wait to see what the next hype cycle will bring!

This puts exactly into words what I've been thinking about AI. So much "someone said it would be great", so little evidence.
Roose doesn't have to make actual arguments – he makes statements, finds one example of something that confirms his biases, and then moves on
All too common an approach.
