Does it matter though? They are still raking in millions for talking out of their ass. It's like the most low effort way to make money, why would anyone bother to try to write a good stand up set or make a funny TV show when they can just talk about what they had for lunch and live comfortably.

I'm a little suspicious of anyone who has a long-form podcast or streams for hours. There has to be some level of narcissism there, even from the content creators I enjoy. I think that's why it's important to his these things loosely and avoid becoming parasocial.
