The Netherlands has issued a new warning to Dutch citizens considering travel to the United States if they are gay, lesbian, transsexual, or another gender or sexual minority. The Dutch government also warned, "The US government has tightened entry controls for foreign visitors," echoing similar concerns raised by other countries, including the United Kingdom and Germany, in messages to their citizens.

It appears that these countries now have some form of warning associated with travelling to the USA:

  • Australia
  • Belgium
  • Canada
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • France
  • Germany
  • Ireland
  • Mexico
  • Netherlands
  • New Zealand
  • Norway
  • Portugal
  • United Kingdom

You can add Denmark. We recently had an official warning for trans people.

That list should be larger. Where the hell is Mexico?

This was what I could find. Several Caribbean countries are seeking clarification about their status, but that appears to be a blockade by the USA, rather than the other way around.

Similarly, the World Bank has advised its Columbian employees to avoid travelling to the USA after several were apparently deported.

Edit: Added Mexico after receiving this link:

Norway today issued a warning against traveling to the US for those whose current legal gender is different from their birth gender. Norway lets you change your legal gender simply by filling in an online form.

As far as I understand, the US will consider a passport fraudulent if it states such a gender. Document fraud is a federal crime, so it could be quite dangerous for the traveler.

In The Netherlands you can get an X in your passport if you identify as non-binary / 3rd gender person. Nobody knows how border security will treat you if you don't have an F or M in your passport, guess aren't many people willing to go find out either. Really wonder how this is gonna go in the following years when US hosts important diplomatic/technological/sports events. Also some scientists are calling out to boycott scientific conventions in support of lgbtqi+ persons.

It's still green on the official advisory website but I see they have a bullet point about LGBTQ+ travellers (among a few other warnings). So it's more like additional context rather than an actual negative advice on travelling there. Conversely, I see NL is orange on the US travel advice site due to terrorism risks lmao.
