I can't figure out how to post more than one picture at a time, but here's the front row of one of my shelves of horror movies. I'm not sure the exact count of movies in my collection anymore but rough estimate of around 600.

That's a good selection too I got the jack frost ones off Amazon a year or so ago. They come with little posters of the cover art

Heck yeah! I just crossed over 800 myself :)

Here's a sample of my horror collection.

That looks like a awesome collection, there's a few on there I've been wanting to add to mine like substance, green room and bodies bodies bodies. Haven't grabbed those ones yet but maybe soon.

I see that you have 28 Days Later - great film and hard to find for cheap. I also have the same editions of Jack Frost (hate it) and Pumpkinhead (love it) :)

The 28 days later I was lucky and found at jumbo video. only cost me like 3 bucks. I've always been a fan of jack frost but I can see where your coming from, it's a stupid movie but one of those ones that's so stupid I can't help but enjoy lol. Pumpkin head is a classic though.

Just got my hands on the Crow trilogy.

That's a good find. I have the first one but haven't picked up the other 2 yet. One day I might pick them up if I see them.

I found it in a cardboard box by a dumpster.

Awesome collection. I really like they live, re-animator and psycho goreman. I've never seen Frankie freako but I think I'm gonna have to check that one out.

Same director of Psycho Goreman directed Frankie Freako (Steve Kostanski)

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago

I'm sold lol. I'll to give it a watch tomorrow

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago

I didn't count, but I think Frankie Freako sets an unofficial record for the most times the word "fart" is seen in any feature film. It is a lot of fun.

That's a great collection! How's Riddle of Fire?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago

It’s awesome. Shot on film. 80s vibe. Visually stunning.

Ah the timeless classic, Evil Bong.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 weeks ago

That one was the 420th one I added to my collection.

I got Leprechaun Returns, too (think I found it for a few bucks somewhere) thinking it was going to probably be awful. It was surprisingly good! Then I realized it was directed by national treasure, Steven Kostanski.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago

I'm a fan of returns too. It's a hell of a lot better then whatever leprechaun origins was lol.

In a Violent Nature 🤩so gooooood

How is Ma?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Yeah I'm a huge fan of in a violent nature, I've seen alot of people complaining about it but I really enjoy it. I think it was really well done, and the scenery in it is beautiful.

Ma is a good one too. It's not one of my "must watch" ones but it's a good one. There's moments in it where you feel bad for the woman, then there's other moments where ya think whoa this woman's a fucking monster. It's worth a watch.

I loved In a Violent Nature. The kills were crazy creative and

Tap for spoilerbeing from the POV of the killer

was innovative, even though yes it’s slow, I definitely appreciated the pacing.

I mean I have a few dozen kg of EPs, LPs, cassettes, VHS taps, CDs, and DVDs that I bought when there wasn't an alternative to physical media and have never expunged from my household, but that's not really the same as collecting.
