Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.

That's it.

Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.

Rule 6- Regarding META posts.

Provided it is about the community itself, you may post non-Reddit posts using the [META] tag on your post title.

Rule 7- You can't harass or disturb other members.

If you vocally harass or discriminate against any individual member, you will be removed.

Likewise, if you are a member, sympathiser or a resemblant of a movement that is known to largely hate, mock, discriminate against, and/or want to take lives of a group of people, and you were provably vocal about your hate, then you will be banned on sight.

This was my battle last night. Trying to post how much a 3k deductible cost between my employer and I.

  • 10k annual premium for me.
  • 13k for my employers contribution.
  • 3k Deductibles are seperate so 6k for family
  • Max out of pocket 10k.

I have since switched to a "higher" deductible plan with HSA. Still rediculous

Thank you Lemmy developers, server admins, and mods for allowing us to have a have an actual conversation/discussion/debate!

This makes me wonder. A couple of years ago the mods of antiwork made people fighting for workers rights look like a bunch of idiotic losers publicly (aka themselves). Seeing how they suck the corporate dick so hard, maybe that was intentional.

"private insurance creates competition"

"I don't want to pay for someone ELSE'S wellbeing"

I can't stand dumb people who can't do basic math in their head and come to a conclusion outside of "daddy told me this"

Exactly. My dad... Everytime healthcare for all comes up, he says! Thats socialism! I wont vote for a socialist. I like my private insurance that on average cost 400-500 per month with a 3k deductible max out of pocket 10k vs 180-275 per month for M4A with no deductible.

Edit...just realized he will be going on medicare soon if it doesnt get culled by our current administration. Wonder what he thinks about that....and his SS.

I think people like that don't actually know what socialism is or why it's bad. They just know "socialism = bad."

My parents are very open minded dems, they both just retired, I hope to God Medicaid doesn't get shit canned. They both worked way to hard and medicaid is already a rip off.

that's probably medicare then, medicaid is the one for those can't afford it, medicare is for retirees.

What is that list of forbidden words? I'm completely out of the loop what that's about.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 10 hours ago

Words you cannot put in a post or automod will cull it.

Luigi is an unconvicted suspect for the murder of a health insurance ceo who used ai to auto-deny claims in the name of increasing profits.

The accused is suspected of gunning him down in the street on the way to a conference. Was big news until the majority of people were championing him as a hero.

After that its crickets from the news outlet and americans are banned from posting his name on corporate social media platform unless its specifically about his court case. We are not allowed to rally around violence. Hence we make up luigi's mansion memes and code words to get around it.
