Give Piquadro a look. They are originally from near Bologna (Italy) though they've gotten so big I can't imagine that they still produce everything there.

Wallets: https://www.piquadro.com/en-de/collections/wallets

And card holders: https://www.piquadro.com/en-de/collections/card-holders

Plenty of options with some style variations.

My last wallet was one of their "blue line" card holders in orange leather. The leather that was great and aged great for 10 years. I replaced it after 10 years of abuse because the pockets were getting a little stretched and the cards were occasionally falling.

Bought another one from them, more wallet-like this time. Let's see if this one beats the 10 years mark. I still have the well-loved old one around if you want pictures.

I really like the availability and choice of spare parts and upgrades for the Aviator wallet. I got mine 6 years ago already, then one for my GF the year after. They were both upgraded with the aluminium frame, and I've replaced the elastic strap on mine twice I think; and screws, just for the esthetics.

I've used a wallet from Exentri for many years. I think they are Swedish.

Orraman Leather

Made in Scotland, I've had a version of the minimalist for about 3 years and it's only getting better with age!

I've have a secrid since 2019 and I'm very satisfied with it. The only issue (on my country's part!) is that our IDs can't fit in it, but I have my drivers' license and that's good enough.

+1 for Secrid, they are sturdy and compact, and the card pop-up is super convenient.

There are a lot of independent leatherworkers that make them.

Elvis and Kresse

These are made in England from recycled materials, mainly old fire hoses and the leftover leather from Rolls Royce, BMW, and others like Burberry.

We visited while on honeymoon so I could pick something out in person, they have a really cool facility built out of hay bales and then plastered over and run on mostly solar power and are really cool people in general.

I got this Book of Kells one when I was in Dublin a few years ago. €40 for a standard, genuine leather wallet is alright. I'm not sure if the brand has a website of their own, but that storefront is located in Ireland.

I bought a Ridge wallet a couple years ago and I've been very happy, though of course they're not a European company. I think maybe Ekster would be my go-to, were I in the market for a similar product, since they offer a lifetime warranty on their Pro wallets.

Good to know, thanks!

Thanks, they look nice! Do you have one yourself?

Yes I do, this one specifically. I'm very happy with it.
Definitely higher quality than Bellroy I had previously (not European btw)
