Wonder which teams are guilty. All the complaints have been aimed at McLaren but they said during the offseason theyโve already changed since the hubbub last year.
Ferrari about to lose even more pace?
โThe FIA wishes to further confirm that during the Melbourne event all cars tested against the requirements of Article 3.15.17 and found to comply, therefore all cars raced in Melbourne were deemed to be legal.โ
According to the article, and the FIA statement, none are guilty. I assume the "sufficient grounds" is that no-one needs additional time to meet the stricter requirements.
Ugh I hope it doesn't hurt Ferrari more. It seems like every time one of these rules came out (think back to Merc dominance) it hurt the P2/P3 teams more than the frontrunner
Considering the amount of aero tests Red Bull has been doing, I think they're in for a stinker.
Ferrari's bigger issue is their consistently wrong tactical decisions, the wing regulations is nothing compared to that.
If all cars already complied in the Melbourne GP this won't really matter, but otherwise it would smack of "oh shit McLaren are too fast we need to get rid of that flexiwing immediately".
Interesting.
