And thanks for cross-posting, I didn't even know about the fedibridge community!
I honestly think that redditors hearing about Lemmy from the moderators they trust on the subreddits they love would be much more persuasive than one of us telling them about the platform in the comments. As they would just think to themselves "well they're just a user, why should I trust them?"
