+1 for Barbero, you can find him on many podcasts and on YouTube (none of the accounts are managed by him, but he knows)
Thank you, great list!
As to your question, personally, both! Translations are often available and sometimes language isn't even a barrier! Also helps with language learning if it happens to be in your target language.
I unfortunately know nothing about Peertube, the only creator I follow that also has a Peertube channel is Veronica Explains (Linux content)
I guess so, thanks!
I just went through my subscribtions and here are the European ones that are worth being mentioned:
catalystz - Dark Souls Speedrunner from the Czech Republic. Mostly known for his amazing Dark Souls and Elden Ring speedruns at GDQ (and world records). Also makes high quality documentaries about speedrunning From Software games. Example: The Important Dark Souls Choice No One Knows About
Jules - If you are German, you already know him. Makes content similar to the Internet Historian, but better. Only Deutsch, tho. Example: Mensch vs. Biest
Luetin09 - This is THE Warhammer 40K Lore channel. From GB. Example: 40K - THE EMPEROR OF MANKIND IS A FALSE GOD | Warhammer 40,000 Lore/Speculation
Ordinary Things - GB Youtuber making educational and funny videos about companies, countries and anything realy. Example: How to Coup ANY Country | Ordinary Guide
SsethTzeentach - Danish video game reviewer that can't be described without using the word edgy. But it's the good kind of edgy...most the time. Example: Starsector Review | Explore the Cosmos™ | Ruin Everything™
I didn't know about Sseth, he seems really cool.
I wish all European content creators, would mirror their content on a peertybe server. I might even watch more videos if it wasn't on YouTube
I started uploading my youtube videos there as well. Starting from my oldest ones. I am not a big youtuber, I don’t have sponsorships and so, although I am monetized on YouTube I make very little because I do it as a hobby outside of work, son don’t upload to often. I don’t know about the big channels, that do have sponsorships, if they would be limited by that part to post on PeerTube.
