Any recommendations for combat mods using MCO?

I'm using Blade and Blunt with Valhalla on top of MCO animations. I disable Valhalla regeneration of stamina on hit settings and turn on its Shield of Stamina function. It's working well to make stamina a vital resource as baseline Valhalla with stamina regen on hit is WAY to spammy.

I've used Valhalla Combat for a few playthroughs now and found it to work really well with MCO, personally. I've also used Blade and Blunt in the past, but haven't tried out the newer versions with MCO yet so I can't say how well it works.

Building out my LO (yet again), so far i have used Valhalla Combat, but this time i think I will try blade and blunt 3. Dont forget, simonMagus updated it a couple of weeks ago, so it might be different to what you remember.

Aside from that, i recommend Enemy Circling Behaviour, SCAR, Wounds (+DAR/OAR animations for Wounds), and the SPID mods for Mysticism and Adamant that distribute those spells and perks to NPCs (assuming you use them)

I'm reversing this! I used Blade & Blunt in my last playthrough, so it's Valhalla this time around. We are overwhelmed with choice right now.

Whichever way you go, definitely check out Precision. This makes any combat overhaul feel tighter with better weapon collision and movement trails. Great stuff.
