Does librewolf or any other alternatives offer syncing between devices? I know it's not a great thing for privacy, but I find it really helpful for work to have easy access to different tabs, passwords and stuff between my phone, laptop and desktop. I would love to switch from mozilla, but that's what's currently keeping me...
LibreWolf
Welcome to the official community for LibreWolf.
LibreWolf is designed to increase protection against tracking and fingerprinting techniques, while also including a few security improvements. LibreWolf also aims to remove all the telemetry, data collection and annoyances, as well as disabling anti-freedom features like DRM. If you have any question please visit our FAQ first: https://librewolf.net/docs/faq/

Librewolf does, though you have to enable it first. Work fine for me. Never really had an issue with it.
Aaaand i used a search engine for you: https://librewolf.net/docs/faq/#can-i-use-firefox-sync-with-librewolf-is-it-safe-to-do-so
But you can even self host your own sync server: https://github.com/mozilla-services/syncserver
Sometimes it's nice to talk to other people 🤷♀️
You're awesome! Thanks. That's wild that your can host your own syncsever, the community is brilliant.
I keep Firefox around only for those very few sites I encounter, such as MLB.TV and my student loan servicer's site, that will rarely if ever function properly in privacy respecting browsers. But 90+ percent of my browsing is done on LibreWolf.
I just cancelled mlb.tv today before the new season renewal activated because I’m exhausted with trying to doge blackouts. I’ll just do something else with my time.
My local team (the Minnesota Twins) is using Twins.TV as their primary platform this year after the Diamond Sports cable debacle. No blackouts! Though that also means I'll probably be able to watch directly on my TV, so I'll likely be doing that for most games, which will be one less reason to keep Firefox around.
I'd use LibreWolf or Waterfox if they had support for all platforms. LibreWolf is only on Windows, Waterfox is on Windows and Android, Ubuntu has none of them and I can't be bothered dicking around to get them installed. Also I need sync between devices for bookmarks.
I guess I'm forced to use Firefox and just use about:config and turn off everything that I find under "telemetry"...
You should be able to add the LibreWolf repository on Ubuntu, if they don't have an Ubuntu one the Debian one should work. It's how I got it on a Fedora based distro (using the Fedora repo).
Librewolf is in a lot of repos and on flathub
