This is a community in the spirit of "Am I The Asshole" where people can post their own bans from lemmy or reddit or whatever and get some feedback from others whether the ban was justified or not.
Sometimes one just wants to be able to challenge the arguments some mod made and this could be the place for that.
All posts should follow this basic structure:
Expect to receive feedback about your posts, they might even be negative.
Make sure you follow this instance's code of conduct. In other words we won't allow bellyaching about being sanctioned for hate speech or bigotry.

DMs can only be purged directly from the database afaik db0, according to the Lemmy World HQ chat anyways, snippet below:

Unfortunately, they aren't automatically removed on the banning of a user.

This is why we can't get more users. If someone sends you their wang, it's there forever, unblured.
Damn that sucks, this seems like an oversight, if a user is purged it should also delete their messages from the database, just like it deletes all their posts and comments.

I'm almost certain that it has something to do with me recently calling out dragonfucker again for trolling, and bad faith behavior. This type of thing happened in the past, as the circumstances were very suspicious, it happened happened very soon after my criticism of drag, there were also other signs they were the same person, like a slip-up where the alt account referred to themselves as drag/dragself ponouns, or saying they wanted to suck my "dragon cock".
A lot of people on pawb.social and in the Spam defense chat are reasonably sure this is an alt of dragonfucker.
Honestly im not surprised, my mod team has long suspected Drag of being apart of a massive network of alts
I wouldn't be surprised either. I know of several accounts that are likely owned by drag, and there are probably way WAY more that we just don't know about.

Couldn't agree more, it's really fucking sad and pathetic the lengths that dragonfucker is going to try and smear or insult me. All because I righteously called them out for being an asshole telling cancer patients to kill themselves, and for being transphobic by virtue of telling trans women to kill themselves, then saying it's okay because it was also telling them to murder conservatives. Which doesn't make it any better.

That guy just created that community & account to shit on a specific user. just ignore him until the instance admin get's around to banning him.
Let's also try and get as many instance admins aware of this so they can clean up this asshole and their content.
Be sure to also report to the feddit.rocks admins. They can ban the community itself from their instance.
