I don't think it's unusual for voices to be raised in a passionate disagreement, but maybe it is and I'm just in a similar situation.

MODERATORS
My family RARELY yelled. I have a couple siblings and my mum and pop have been married since like college, and they’re retired now. Growing up though, we had arguments and stuff, my siblings and I would bicker and tease each other, but yelling was VERY RARE, only huge events. Maybe a couple times a year multiple people would yell.
