The only good nazi is a dead nazi. What games are the best for taking them out?

India Jones and the Great Circle was a good start, and I'm considering Sniper Elite VR for the highly detailed nazi carnage. Wondering what other nazi-killing favorites are out there.

Commandos!

The one by Eidos, where there are "vision triangles" and you have to slowly take out a whole ton of nazis before terminating your objectives in each level.

My favourite is the Beyond the call of duty one.

Bear trap on their path, run back to cover.

Blow out Hitlers ball in Sniper Elite. Can't get better than that really. Or can you?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 week ago

Can you shoot the other one too? Y'know, the one that's in the Albert Hall

[–] [email protected] 26 points 1 week ago

Well Wolfenstein: The New Order is the other classic to do just that!

The first BloodRayne game (after the intro level, which is plain bad and almost nazi-free) sees a lot of bitten, shot, dismembered, burned, possessed and exploded nazis.

Honestly the gameplay is a bit clunky even for its time, but if what you need is dead nazis then it very firmly ticks the box.

Also remastered: BloodRayne: Terminal Cut

Return to Castle Wolfenstein VR port by Team Beef. It's amazing.

Gonna stray a bit from the other games mentioned here for the sake of adding something unique.

It's not your traditional nazis per say, but the half life series fits quite nicely with this urge. The combine are genocidal, totalitarian, they use shit loads of propaganda, etc. They don't have the looks of it, but they're clearly the nazi type.

Brutal Wolfenstein is a great mod for GZDoom (and free with freedoom). Imagine the original wolfenstein but you get to stain the walls with the blood of nazis. The difficulty is significantly increased, weapons hit harder, and everything is better.

The original monochromatic Castle Wolfenstein, blowing up Hitler with my buddy and his grandfather who lost family in the camps in Poland will always be a fun memory.

Nazi zombies, it shows them as the monsters they really are.

Lately I've been playing the Rise of the Triade remake, I'm a retro kind of old guy anyways.

Metro 2033 and Last Light.

But those are the only games I have with nazis in them.

Well... There is that one nazi in Killing Floor 2...

Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Wolfenstein (2009) for FPS.

Otherwise Company of Heroes (any of the three).
Exploding Nazis is just so much fun :D

Any game where you can do a texture replacement and fix all of the enemies to have elon's face

Wolf3D straight up

Bionic Commando

It's about an army of neo-nazis trying to resurrect Hitler

It's a platformer but you can't jump in it, only use a grappling hook

Hearts of iron 3 and 4, Wolfenstein gets a bit lost in glorifying their aesthetic but is very fun

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 week ago

Indiana Jones and the great circle lets you kill fascists and nazis iirc, it's a good game and a good Indiana Jones story.

Real RTCW is available on steam for free with a bunch of user-made campaigns (+ other mods) on the workshop, too!

Zombie Army Dead War 4

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zombie_Army_4:_Dead_War

You don't only get to see nazis that are already dead, you can tear them into pieces again and again... It's really super fun

Bionic Commando. Love love love to shoot Hitler in his doughy, laughable master race face with a rocket launcher through the window of a fucking helicopter as I fall past it.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 week ago

Hearts of Iron 4 is also fun. You can take on the entire third reictb

The Commandos saga. Specially the first one (Behind Enemy Lines).
