FOSS DEX alternative? Linux on android? (self.opensource)

Hi everybody. I have a rooted phone and I was thinking, If I can spin up something like Samsung DEX on my phone, alongside my android, that uses Linux, I can do 80% of my work just with my phone. Is that doable? Can someone provide me with more information?

Termux + Termux-x11 + Proot for Linux software.
You can do it without Proot if all the software that you need is already in Termux-x11 repository.
SmartDock / Taskbar for Android applications.

I made a relevant XDA thread some time ago.

Android IS a Linux Distro, but the lack is, that the serial Android is full of Google APIs and other company crap. Because of this there are some degoogled forks out there which you can use

I forgot to mention, I am using lineageOS with no google/Gapps.

How can I use it like my Linux comluter?
