My commentary: An AI that can be trusted with sensitive information remains a tantalizing but unattainable "holy grail".

And a quote I love from the article:

"As long as machine learning and generative AI is being deployed in production systems, we predict a heartwarmingly lucrative job market in AI security."

Lol. Wild!

”The company accused 10 anonymous defendants of violating the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, and federal racketeering laws"

So... Their lawyers were bored? I admit, I don't understand the legal value of brining the case against an anonymous person.

"Microsoft is taking a firm stand against the misuse of its generative AI services and sending a clear message that the weaponization of its AI technology by online actors will not be tolerated."

Uh... Wow. But I suppose my own firm stances sometimes also involve meaningless gestures.

Standard disclaimer: I'm not a lawyer. I'm just someone who has been exposed to too much marketing technobable bullshit. I'll allow that maybe my bullshit-o-meter is being unfair?
