Hello you wonderfull people.

So as the tittle suggest. I am wondering if it is possible to host lemmy instances on I2P. If this is possible, how would this work together with main internet lemmy and is this wanted? i would assume this would require some sort of out proxy's and or bridges.

There are two ways this could work.

It could be purely darknet which would mean that the instance only federates with darknet instances.

The other option would be to have a darknet mirror of the clearnet.

I think it should be possible with a reverse proxy. I don't see why not

I'd wager tor is more suitable to contact clearnet as I2P but i may be wrong.

I get what your saying. But I think having a network of Lemmy instances on I2P would be nice. Bonus if you can also communicate with clear net instances from it.
