Disabled people don’t have wage or marriage equality :(.
We aren’t valued in the current system.
Personally I find it too depressing to beg the government to be willing to pay us slightly higher starvation wages, but still absolutely abysmal starvation wages, even though we are disabled. To be clear, I do think that the discrimination is bullshit, and that minimum wage would be better than any amount lower than minimum wage, but I think our collective energies would be put to better use by demanding much better than this -- for ourselves and also for everyone else around us too.
