"At least democrats are openly evil marxist traitors"

Mother fucker, HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO DO ALL OF THIS CRAP!! un-fucking-believable!

[–] [email protected] 91 points 1 week ago (1 children)

And it's not even fucking true! There's nothing Marxist about the Democrats except for the far right propaganda against them!

[–] [email protected] 62 points 1 week ago (2 children)

The democrats could literally have the exact same platform as the GOP and these brainlets would still think they were "commies trying to destroy muh free rights and guns". Whats funny is that the Dems arent even too far off from that.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 1 week ago

I honestly believe someone could run as a Republican on the whole "it was better back then" train utilizing most of the Republican official platforms from the 1960-1970s. It's pretty damned close to the basics the Dems have been talking about and not accomplishing because of obstructionism.

It's clear with modern Rs you don't even need to explain anything, just say you're going back to the good old days when the US was powerful, etc. and hijack the current bullshit machine. Then push through the actual platform of the time, with receipts. Force them to face the fact their party has been hijacked.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 week ago

Shit the democrats could run the exact same platform that the GOP is accusing them of and their voter turnout would explode! If Biden was as based as the GOP wants you tell you he is I would have had no problem voting for him again. The deep state cabal sounds like some cool folks that can get shit done.

Hahaha but that's when they say "oh he was just trolling" or "wow, you liberals can't even tell he was joking!"

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I thought the whole point was that the dems are liars and the reps just openly say "how it is". Nothing changed, MAGA did not change their rhetoric. I'd really like to know what goes on in their heads.

The fact that they think the modern Democratic Party is Marxist is crazy

[–] [email protected] 110 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (2 children)

Their entire echo chamber is paid to say that over and over and over so it just becomes reality to them. I explained to a coworker that basically anyone that even slightly understands Marxism hears the right say that nonsense and it sounds like if I were to say "Donald Trump is a vegan organic farmer."

It's the same category as "woke" like this book:

[–] [email protected] 17 points 1 week ago

Hallmark of brainwashing. Bypass critical thinking with vague statements of the outsiders "evil", but keeps followers from actually thinking about what they are saying with those statements.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 week ago (3 children)

Oh yeah! Well then how do you explain that the transmission is working in kahoots with this engine! /s

"Does he still have your vote?"

"Yes."

[–] [email protected] 34 points 1 week ago

"he literally is going to enrich himself at our expense and do nothing to help you. Nothing but lies to get elected."

"I mean sure, he'll throw us all under the bus for a buck, but I can't vote for the Demonrats they kill babies to make the bindings for Das Capital, they facefuck Santa Claus, and they just legalized beating white Christian men with discarded genitalia from gender surgery for the sin of being conservative. It's mandatory in Commifornia now. Don't you even pay attention to Reality™©®!? Sean Hannity said so which means it's 100% TRUE! It's like all you do is watch biased media! Sean Hannity says that we conservatives need to work together to get Republicans in office so obviously he's not biased, he's one of us!"

I have spoken to a voter of Trump who formerly was in my circle. I honestly asked her what the reason was. Her answer?

"I just don't like the other party."

That was it. Now I imagine besides the obvious cultists, that people treated the general elections like as if we're voting on two sports teams, that people had that same exact reason. "Oh I just don't like that other party" all while having the blankest of stares, the breeze between their ears and the stoic walk of automated activity as they confidently and blindly voted for the wrong party.

She was sugarcoating her bigotry and here you are questioning everything

People are primarily driven by emotion. Some people almost exclusively so.

You can't really convince people of things with facts and figures. That's like trying to heat your bedroom by making a bonfire down the street.

We're all emotional, and all of us sometimes follow our feelings over more rational motivations. But a lot of people are pretty much all emotion, and they vote for bad policy.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 week ago

Emotions are important to a full inner life, but letting them decide how you behave is a sign of immaturity.

How did the conversation actually go? Because my immediate question would have been "why was that your deciding factor?"

[–] [email protected] 70 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Grandpa was crying about losing his workforce at the factory due to border laws.

Oh sorry did the consequences of your vote come sooner than you thought?

Dumb cunt

[–] [email protected] 23 points 1 week ago

"I didn't think stopping immigration and deporting immigrants would mean not getting more immigrants to work and deporting MY workforce!"

[–] [email protected] 63 points 1 week ago

"I got swindled by a shyster with a decades long track record, twice in a row! How did that happen?"

[–] [email protected] 50 points 1 week ago (3 children)

I'm curious what Trump lie led to this

[–] [email protected] 22 points 1 week ago

The possibilities are endless!

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 week ago

The ouster of Bob Good and the H1-B visa controversy, I think.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

I'm guessing probally the reverse inflation / food prices lie, it's the only one I ever see bitched about, but yes there are many

[–] [email protected] 43 points 1 week ago

This small vocal fraction of MAGA on social media is so insignificant and irrelevant to most of the people who voted for Trump. There’s absolutely no chance my dumbass aunt is aware of any of this.

[–] [email protected] 43 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Dude I WISH Democrats were Marxist. Why do they always make Democrats seem better than they are.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 week ago

Because while liberals have a vague, uselessly imprecise understanding of what some unimportant words mean, like liberal and socialist, the conservative base holds knowing things in active contempt and the leadership likes to keep them that way.

[–] [email protected] 38 points 1 week ago (3 children)

Fool me once, shame on...shame on you. Fool me—you can't get fooled again.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 week ago (6 children)

Bush Jr was really something else. 😂

It's almost as if Trump is a symptom and not the cause of the MAGA movement.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 1 week ago

I wish the finding out phase were only this bad, tbh. The real shit goes down starting in at least 23 days and only gets worse after that.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 week ago

I wish Democrats were as cool as conservatives think they are.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 week ago

Openly evil Marxist traitors.

As opposed to the guys doing a bait and switch right? No betrayal there...

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Ummmmmmmm how are Democrats Marxist and how are they traitors??!

The full scale of the finding out part will occur in 2028. Yes, the USA is going to be a massive train wreck with Putin's Sock Puppet increasing socialism to cover up his failures. For example, farm subsidies in 2017 were around $7 billion and in 2020, he nailed $23 billion. The abused Payment Protection Plan...$953 billion down the drain. We'll see if the Louisiana bird flu really mutates and busts out of the red run turd hole.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 week ago (2 children)

This is the perfect opportunity. MAGAs have been betrayed by their leader, and their leader (Musk) is inviting dozens of scabs from other countries to do what would otherwise be high paying jobs for peanuts.

We can turn the Left Vs. Right Dichotomy into a Rich Vs. Poor one. Much better odds
