In my experience, most stick drift seems to be fixed by taking it apart and dousing that cube piece with rubbing alcohol. Bonus points if you gently pop off the two plastic sides and really get up in there. Put it all back together carefully and there you go. It's so often dust or some other kind of dirtiness.
