Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is the 20th title in the Call of Duty Franchise, and 6th in the Modern Warfare series (not counting re-releases). It is the 2nd Call of Duty game titled "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III"

Is this the actual third game in the series or the third reboot of the recent iteration of reboots? Overwriting things by using the names of older games is tiresome and confusing.
It'll be flaghumping "the ends justify the means" cry and shoot propaganda and have an exceptionally toxic playerbase as it usually does, so I'll sit this one out.
