Wow, such violence! The black eye is quite striking.
I don't recall Patty being this violent later in the series...
The wikipedia article on her says:
As the only female character in the strip's very earliest days, Patty often acted as a sort of hen, looking out for the younger characters; however, she also set the tone for the strong female characters in the Peanuts universe.
If this is looking out for them, I don't want to know what happens when you cross her 💀
