Dear reader, when you read OP's posts, take the time to look at the upvote to downvote percentage. This poster is going out of its way to bash Democrats, and while we can't say why that is (thanks mods!!!), we CAN say that there is a concerted effort by Republicans, Russians, right-wing trolls, and other authoritarians to throw this election to Trump to establish authoritarianism here. Keep that in mind as you read these articles from this poster.

Isn't it that we just are not allowed to say they are bots or paid provocateurs? I thought we still were allowed to say they are dishonest, acting in bad faith, and MAGAs cosplaying as leftists.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Hi there, friend. Don't you think that's an unfair insinuation to make? OP doesn't write the articles, they only post them for discussion. Thank you!

I’m not sure all purpose is a great substitute for universal.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I don't know what that means friend. I'm just here to discuss the articles and totally nothing else. Thank you!

I think you’d really be into Danielle Prune’s politics.

Who is that? Something something duopoly btw. Thanks!

Actually I'm helping the Democrats: https://lemmy.world/comment/12698046

@SatansMaggotyCumFart says "I’ve been a stanch socialist for years, always voting for the SWPUSA but I can’t wait to vote for Harris this year."

"I’m a proud democrat now due to your conduct in these comments."

and

"You’re definitely doing a great job drumming up support for Harris!"

All that and you didn't even make it easy for people to check my posts! Here's my post history: https://lemmy.world/u/UniversalMonk?page=1&sort=New&view=Posts

How can you say I bash Democrats when I post Pro-democrat articles though? And I’ve posted articles that are critical of Trump, Stein, and Harris, as well as articles praising each of them.

So, if you’re assuming I agree with every viewpoint in the articles I post, how does that even work when I share so many conflicting perspectives?!

I also created and mod a political news community where people have posted articles praising Harris, criticizing Stein and Trump, and trashing me—yet I still leave those up.

https://lemmy.world/c/politicsunfiltered

Why did you forget to mention the pro-democrat articles and the anti-Trump articles that I post, in your little rant?

Do you have an agenda? Hlmmmm.... because we CAN say that there is a concerted effort by Republicans, Russians, right-wing trolls, and other authoritarians to try to paint everyone as some russian agent in order to cause chaos and confusion. So readers, please keep that in mind as you read these posts attempting to paint me as pro-Trump. :)

Some instances don't show downvotes (like blahaj.zone). Also, maybe they're bashing Democrats bc Dems are fucking awful? Not as bad as republicans obviously, but that should go without saying around here. Leftists shitting on Biden and refusing to vote for him seems to have played an important role in him stepping down and, until he did, we were constantly shat on by liberals over it and accused of being Russian/trolls/etc. This is the same. Harris needs to adopt leftist positions if she wants leftist support

Edit: I am aware, however, that OP likes to troll. Their style is classic (i.e., obvious yet still reels people in) and it's hilarious

*which are 1% of the US population

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (2 children)

They make a significant number of voters in critical swing states like Michigan. Biden won certain counties in the 2020 election by a handful of votes. This can make a significant amount of difference in the coming election.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (3 children)

I'm aware, but this particular poster constantly posts these articles with that specific title format to push a very specific reaction.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

And gets downvoted by ridiculous measures, which I'm glad for.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (2 children)

And yet, I'm still here. Because I don't care about downvotes, friend. Seems like they are very important to you tho. Thanks!

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago

Yes you're quite proud of being loathed

For the record, I'm actually helping Harris and the Democrats win. I've turned people to the Democratic party just by my comments and attitude: https://lemmy.world/comment/12698046

@SatansMaggotyCumFart says "I’ve been a stanch socialist for years, always voting for the SWPUSA but I can’t wait to vote for Harris this year."

I didn't write the article, nor did I write the title. If you think the news org is being dishonest, please contact them directly.

And why did you neglect to mention that I’ve posted articles that are critical of Trump, Stein, and Harris, as well as articles praising each of them?

So, if you’re assuming I agree with every viewpoint in the articles I post, how does that even work when I share so many conflicting perspectives?!

I'm curious why you left that part out. Can you clarify why you would imply that I only post one type of article, when my post history clearly shows that's not true? https://lemmy.world/u/UniversalMonk?page=1&sort=New&view=Posts

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Because I don't spend my time thinking about you and feeling I need to check in on what you're doing and posting.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Well you cared enough to mention "this particular poster constantly posts these articles with that specific title format to push a very specific reaction."

But when I point out to you that I post all types of articles with all types of titles, you suddenly don't spend your time thinking about me?!

So you spend enough time to give out inaccurate implications about me, but not enough to time to be correct. Ok...

Also, I'm still now sure what you mean by "specific title format" since I don't create the titles.

In the fifty-six days since this account was created it has made four thousand four hundred and eighty one submissions.

That’s one every eighteen minutes, twenty-four hours a day seven days a week.

The guy who wants to ban Muslims from entering the country is doing better among Muslims than the person who will probably get accused of being a Muslim by a good portion of the country.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago

Stein leading Harris among this group, even if very unfortunate, makes sense.

But this ... this does not.

And sure enough, the article explains it,

Trump’s lead over Harris, however, are within the margin of error of the poll

So basically it's all just error and he's likely not really leading.
