The filament is edible, but the paints is leaded, which makes them taste sweet, so it's a win win.

No way am I procrastinating painting my minis for months, eventually make myself go and do it, only to have someone eat them.

If you do chocolate printing, you can print multiple colors so you don't have to paint.

Printing in chocolate is a massive pain in the ass though, from everything I've seen online.
