I always heard Birks like Birkenstocks, an overpriced show sold pretty much exclusively to yuppies. It's it a bad shoe, no they're actually pretty good but they aren't worth the money.

Most hobbies in my experience they would be called bunnies. Not so much in tech, but why not.
