I've learned from that article that there are some really bad ways to take advantage of a system. I almost feel bad for the banks... Nah.

I did this 20+ years ago after a bank stole my money with bogus overdraft fees and refused to reverse them. Rent was due. Wrote myself a check a withdrew my fucking money from the ATM. Never got in trouble but it was a few hundred not thousands like those idiots. Opened a new account elsewhere before check systems or whatever its called flagged me.
