Was just thinking they should enable those for the expac.

I do not care much about the drops itself. Those are for beginners anyway and they are the ones watching streams mostly.

It is about the message that streamers can play and potentially get more audience that way.

32h watchtime in 5 days, thats a lot. Don't know what the outfit collection is though.

I assume it's cumulative and not per drop. So 10 hours, which is doable.

I hope so, but I have seen such numbers before in other games. You are right, Ii missed that possibility.

Yea, it’s only 10 hours total of Twitch streaming you need to watch, but I think you need to redeem each item before it will continue towards the next one.

Yes, that's just how Twitch drops work in general. Heard there are browser extensions, that claim automatically, but haven't tried them yet.

One is BetterTTV. I tried it for the last Twitch drop, and it didn't work. I cannot say if it was the addon that didn't work, or if I just didn't set it up properly though!

The outfit collection was in a previous drop already, the wiki should have an article.

Ty very much, I couldn't find it with "Classic Outfit". Probably a typo on my side.

Honestly, the rewards are pretty useless

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It’s better than nothing and whether it’s useless or not depends on the person. Someone could probably use a free make-over kit 😄

At least on my secondary account I don't have the back piece yet. The rewards aren't mind-boggling, but decent enough for me to let a twitch stream run in the background, even though I don't like twitch and this account linking business. But I'm a sucker for free stuff. 😏

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago

Same. I also just keep it in running in the background. Twitch has never been my thing.

I've got Wings years ago, I had backpack and tshirt outfit already that was in the previous drop. There should be a way to turn skins duplicates into transmutation charges and exchange for all these damn express npc services into statuettes or at least boosters.

Oh sorry I forgot there are far more important changes than QoL needs that piled over last decade. Like removing butt, breasts and high heels from Watchknight.

Sometimes I wonder what would happen if game would have its code available on github for everyone to contribute.

I mean when you buy the expac you get the skins as items that you then have to delete by typing out their entire name... sometimes I wonder if they test these things

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

Well, you can link item in the chat and then remove the brackets to speed up things but that shouldn't be done like this. If skin gets unlocked upon landing in the inventory, item should be salvageable/destroyable without type-to-confirm window

They do test things but they're blinded by rose-tinted glasses and biased in favor of their creations which are of course prefect. And frankly, that happens to most devs nowadays.
