Both Star and King by Belly had a ton of great songs that never get airplay on classic rock stations It's the same Pearl Jam, Nirvana rotation over and over.

Yah, I don't know which stations Belly should have been played on but those (the Pearl Jam and Nirvana stations) don't seem exactly right. In Southern California, where I was when the Star and King were made, they played Belly quite a bit on stations like 91X and KROQ. Those are alternative / college rock radio.

Today's classic rock stations play music that was on alternative stations in the 90's. Yes, alternative stations in the 90's played Belly. But their music has been forgotten because now it isn't played.
