This is my first AR and first AR build, and is a semi-clone of the North Hollywood Shootout dissipator. I like the look of the 20 round mags a lot more than drum mags.

H&R lower, Car-15 stock, 16" Del-ton dissipator barrel, A1 grip, A1 repro handguards, and A2 upper. I still need to get a sling. Literally just finished building it and haven't had a chance to bring it to the range yet (as I'm sure you can tell from the pristine brass deflector).

With the car15 stock collapsed it's got a real truncated look to it. Iit's a nice clone build but for historical accuracy you might need one more pin. But I can't deny 20rders are a total vibe.

Hope you have a great time when you get to the range, I hear dissies are incredibly soft shooting.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure my lower is compatible with a drop in auto sear, so maybe something to look into in the future for historical accuracy. I'm really liking the stock. It's the same length as the buffer tube, so it feels really compact. I have some ammo coming this weekend, so I guess I'll see how soft it shoots.

This is my favorite version. The only thing that would make it better to me is the full butt, with the rifle cleaning kit stored inside of it.
