when can we expect a server update to 0.18?I can't log in to jeroba as a result of server version. I know youve said your busy with anti spam so was just curious

I want to but if I upgrade to 18 I would have to disable open registrations as it doesn't contain a captcha.

Yeah keep it rolled back until captcha is available. We don't want a ton of bots on here like the rest of the fediverse.

For what it’s worth: other large instances are also intentionally delaying upgrade plans until 0.18.1.

I'm using Jerboa right now...all I get is a popup stating that I should contact my admin to upgrade. Are you using the latest version of Jerboa?

For what it's worth Lemmy Sync is in works. The dev says it'll be a couple months yet though.
