Band Space wants to become the Guitar Hero of virtual reality (mixed-news.com)

Fast Travel Games and Smartmelon Games announce the VR music and rhythm game "Band Space". The VR game, reminiscent of classics such as Guitar Hero World Tour or Rock Band, is set to be released as a full version for Meta Quest and Steam in fall 2024. A demo is already playable via App Lab on Meta Quest. As in the role models, but without plastic instruments, you can play guitar, drums, bass, or keyboard — either solo or with up to 3 friends online in VR or mixed reality. Band Space will offer songs from various genres at launch and will expand the track list in the future. You can also find new songs via the Mod.io integration, or create your own tracks with the BandSpace beatmap editor.

You can also play different instruments together with others. I like that idea.

I hope they get more variety with the beat maps though. Looks like there's only 2 lanes
