They will find all the apples.

[–] [email protected] 36 points 3 months ago (1 children)

The plan?

More oats.

The strategy?

Get the oats.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 3 months ago (1 children)

That's a solid stratagy to complete the plan!

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 months ago

They are planning to steal your carrots while you're watching your oats

Oh fuck oh shit

So why are we paying CEOs millions if we could just get a couple of these guys and pay them in hay and some outdoor time instead?

[–] [email protected] 13 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Are you insane??? That's how you end up with horse CEOs with all the power, AND they know how to plan and stratagize??? Just look at Twitter/X, and tell me there's any stratagy going on. No planning. No intelligence.

And now you want to give horses the power, AND they can kick us in the head? And they have penis's that are bigger???

This is an insane plan! Clearly not thought of by a horse. A horse would know how to stratagize better.

As long as they walk on four legs we can tell them apart from the humans. Sounds like we should make some rules about animals not standing on two legs.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 months ago

"Four legs good, two legs bad", I like the ring of that. Definitely wouldn't set us up for issues down the line.

I don't know, I work with horses a lot, and have for many years. This isn't surprising at all. They are intelligent. Like humans, they have a variety of intelligence, a spectrum. I think that any human that has spent time with them, and has the ability to reflect, knows this. That's why they challenge us and also why they can be such great resources.

I attached an image of riding (I think)

Agree, horses can be very intelligent. Good cowhorses are prized for the way they think and if they can outsmart cows, along with their athletic ability, so this doesn't surprise me at all either. I also think horses have a sense of humor and like little pranks.

  • Step one: Shake head while going "üüüühühühü" and then "plwlwlwlwh".

  • Step three: Profit

I welcome our new horse overlords and will work as a slave in the sugar fields and apple orchards without complaint.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

And the horses will say they’re doing us a favour

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago

Do you think when the horses invent cars they can drive, they'll measure their engines in terms of manpower?

[–] [email protected] 9 points 3 months ago

Dangerous on both ends and crafty in the middle.

TIL Horses are plants. Devious, conniving plants at that.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

You are what you eat.

Do the horses that work in the Medieval Times entertainment center/restaurants think they are actually in the medieval time period?

[–] [email protected] 8 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Human medieval times? No, don't be silly.

Horse medieval times? Now, that's another thing. Irrespective of whether they work or not, the horses I've spoken to are generally convinced they have entered the renaissance.

A user named Beaver posts an article from Plant Based News about horses strategizing.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

Yeah these users have clear bias in their postings

So they're being pricks for no reason?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago

They're being pricks because of their inherent evil.

[–] [email protected] -2 points 3 months ago

I don't get it. If you can traverse obstacles you can plan and strategize. Why is this news?

[–] [email protected] -2 points 3 months ago

These studies and articles are so silly, it's always "animals and plants are smart, who would have thought!"
