This game has an interesting history. It was fully translated by Sol Press 2 years ago but never published, apparently. Sol Press went defunct in 2021 for failing to pay their taxes...
It's a shame, because Sol Press published their releases without DRM. Shiravune, which is a division of DMM Games, appears to have acquired the English language translation rights and localized it. They published this on Johren, encumbered by some of the nastiest DRM on the market.
On Steam, there's no mention of DRM, so it's possible it's only using the lighter Steamworks DRM. They've released a free adult content patch on Johren for Steam users. The other thing is that there's no Japanese language option with this release, unfortunately.
The game itself looks a bit odd indeed!
