I find it impossible without using all the hints. At least today there was a single letter word which could have helped

Single letters usually help, but I could not think of any three letter words that would work at the start. Then I got lucky guessing the pair of two letter words and it all fell into place.

Used R instead of C and that messed it all up for me. Also, why does it give a hint for a letter that I already correctly guessed?
