For photos of beautiful, still-inhabited locales! It can be a quick snapshot of your local town, a breathtaking pro photo of a city, or a pic of some fascinating piece of modern life.
The only real rule is that it must be an actively inhabited/used location (ie not ruins or natural locales). Otherwise, go wild. Anything that you find beautiful or interesting!

I did a double take after reading this comment. Then an ultra rare triple take.
Holy heck! Suddenly Solstheim and half of Morrowind have become clear to me. This has to be the inspiration for a population in an area full of dust storms.
Dune also took inspiration from the Bedouin people for the Fremen

Whenever I see an image like this, I think of Saharan rock band Tinariwen, who live part of the year nomadically out in the desert, part of their Tuareg and family's tradition since times lost to memory, even though they do have permanent addresses in... I think it's Algeria.
Picture being out in the deep desert of Algeria, Mali, Tunisia, and/or Morocco. Your spacious and cozy family tents are pitched, you might stay at that spot for days, weeks, or maybe even months, far away from civilization, far away from even the nearest village, let alone city. No artificial light anywhere on the horizon.
You walk outside at night, to the sound of a gentle breeze blowing across the desert. The sky is exploding with thousands of stars in the crisp, dry desert air.
Carrying your guitar and maybe a portable, battery-operated amp, you find your spot a bit away from camp, and in magnificent solitude you strum, experiment with chords, come up with new music. Night after night after night.
I love Tinariwen. Amazing band.
I used to think these look really cozy inside but then I heard about the spiders. So many spiders.
Slept a few nights in them and didn't see an inordinate amount of spiders
But the beds are just wooden boards with carpet on them, and the carpet has never been cleaned

I saw a few but it's a desert. Not even spiders want to live there.
It's quite difficult to find any alcohol but all the locals know which shops have it

i have a similar shaped tent and fail to keep it cool when it's hot
Maybe you need it to be ten times bigger like the OP's picture
