Ahhhh! These look so cool, love how they’ve grown in the newer picture you uploaded. Were the seeds harvested by you by any chance?! About how much time would you say it took to get from planting to the original picture you posted?

One of those things in looking forwards to trying whenever I have some flowering around the same time.

I harvested them from the fruits I foraged in Calabria, Italy at the entrance to our hotel. Packaged them well and brought them home by plane (Italy -> Germany).

Getting the seeds to germinate was (so far) the hardest part. Had a small plastic box from a 1kg Haribo I bought some days ago (like that one: picture).
Germination to something green took about 1 or 2 weeks. Of about 10 seeds only these germinated, the others either molded or didnt germ. Molding probably because not properly cleaned/desinfected.
The box + cactus earth + a bit of water, closing it and letting it stay in indirect sunlight.

Between picture 1 and the update were 13 days. I have them now on the balcony in direct sunlight and they seem to be even bigger now.

Any other questions I can answer?

Not easy to get them to germinate. Make sure that the seeds and earth are clean so no mold can develop from them.
When they are plants, they seem (so far) very easy to keep alive. They have grown around 25% from last update.
