It's pretty slick, a good fun few hours til you realize there isn't any plot or endgame, yet, and it gets somewhat repetitive doing the same jobs. Highlights include trying to figure out how to arrest someone who's only clue you got to go on is that they're 6'3 with blond hair. If you've done enough jobs some of the names start crossing over, I had the character who served as some admin for my detective in the tutorial get smoked sometime later in my career which was pretty cool. Also the upgrades are neat in concept but are pretty useless, like I never really needed money much and a lot of them had to do with getting like +10c for reading a book or something.

You kinda have to make your own gameplay sometimes. Like I couldn’t find the person with blood type A- who makes 129,000 so I went to my apartment and got drunk on vodka while watching TV.
