Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

I was just randomly installing game from my (massive) library and this one is so much fun.

  1. Setup kill zones with Arrow Wall + Tar Trap
  2. Send orcs back to kill zone with Spring Traps
  3. Endless fun

There are a few traps seems pretty much useless tho (what's the point of Steam Trap?). Also I hate the maps that you can't focus on building 1 single kill zone. Just let me kill the orcs!

I remember the second being just as fun, the third one is some sort of an online game?

OMD3 is the same as OMD2.
There was an "Orcs Must Die! Unleashed" that is technically the 3rd game in the series and it was an online MOBA-style game, but it's been shut down and is impossible to play nowadays.

I think the 3rd one supports multiplayer but still has at least 1 single player campaign.

Loved this series!

OMD3 was online multi-player and was one of the games in Stadia that I and a friend of mine would play a ton of.

So much fun.

I've got this one in the backlog (installed, never played), but I also have Bloons TD6 but got a bit bored with it lately - is it different enough to be fresh?

I have never played Bloons TD6. You may have to try it out!
