Well no matter what it is, all he knows is that he loves you, and he's gotta make sure you know.

you know that wooshing air sound that fan makes?

it's the same sound going on inside the cat's head.

The sound inside my very loving but very slow cats head is the gentle hum of a space heater. Or maybe a soft spring breeze.

Waining for braincell to activate......

Gateway timeout

The sound (and image) of a potato rotating in a microwave.

Fact: Orange cats only have one braincell and it's having a seizure all the time

There is a lemmy community dedicated to the one cell

I like to picture just a constant purring sound

This music interspersed with "Your call is important to us, please continue to hold"

I don't know. He looks like a serious, no nonsense cat. He looks like in his head, the only sounds are the grinding of gears as he dutifully patrolled his territory.

Can confirm. My cats request this jam be played to them on the daily.

The lights are on, but there's nobody home

I'm not saying that cats are stupid, but I spend a lot of time wondering if cats have anything resembling an internal 'monologue' like we do. Obviously, it's unlikely to be super similar to the typical language/word-based systems a lot of us have, but I wonder what it could look like. Is there even anything going through there at all or is it similar to what you would see in someone with aphantasia.
