The seminal blaxploitation movie, starring the queen of blaxploitation, Pam Grier. A few more stills..

Do you want to check your IMDb link? It goes to a completely different film.

Fixed! Thanks for notifying. :)

It still points to Roar (1981)

Probably just taking time for the edit to federate. It shows the right movie over here.

Yup, the link works now.

Didn't know federation took noticeable time.

Not always, but once in a while it takes a bit longer. I found out when someone replied to something I had deleted an hour beforehand.

Fun bit of synchronicity, last night I was listening to a podcast with Colin Quinn as a guest, he admitted that Pam Grier in this movie was the first person he ever spanked it to lol.

I'll always remember her from Tarantino's Jackie Brown. I saw it before I saw any real blaxploitation movies. I think Jackie Brown gets forgotten because he did Pulp Fiction around the same time. I love that fucking movie.

Shaft in Africa is something special too.

Now that is a proper poster design. Her dress looks fabulous, look at the contrast and the hem line. That pistol is not going to make it out of the car stuck in her shoe ties, but still!
