Give a million poor people $100.00 each and it goes straight into the general economy. People are buying shoes, food, pizza.

Give one billionaire $100 million and they'll buy a van Gogh and hide it from the rest of the world.

I like the implication that pizza is a separate category from food.

Pizza is like sex but I don’t cry after pizza.

Pizza transcends all.

If you get the frozen ones, you can use them as a tire. 🙃

Everyone benefits from a higher minimum wage. When people make enough to spend they actually spend it. That is what actually keeps an economy healthy and more people that make above minimum wage employed.

Right. The way you know modern economics is for the most part a sham is its complete silence on allowing dragon's to hoard mountains of wealth and the damage this does to an economy.

Everyone. Everyone benefits from a higher minimum wage, because it places upward pressure on wages. Employers are forced to compete with McDonalds for labor, and everyone ends up getting a raise.

I say "everyone" but of course that isn't entirely true. But the people who don't benefit are statistically insignificant. It's like saying "I ate all the rice" because you at a bowl of rice, but one half of one piece of rice got stuck to the rim of the bowl. That's how few people don't benefit from higher minimum wages.

It is everyone who benefits.
