Are those screens mascarading as windows?

That's sad. I really dislike screens as windows, especially when you're able to get close to them and walk relative to them. The lack of change in perspective as you move makes them feel like a very early 90s video game

I mean there are some cool and cozy decorations in, for example, streaming and film studio designs, but i really dislike them in everyday life. Thankfully i dont have to get by with something like this.

For some reason, that's extremely offensive to me, even if they worked flawlessly.

it's definitely dystopian, but I still kinda want one for a view from my desk

It would be great for inner or basement office spaces where windows just can't happen. And if it projects a bit of UV light, with a video of the sun that moves with the real time, it would be even better.

Though, I'd also argue that would make it a poorly designed building.

Why would one want it to emit UV? We can't see it, and it damages us.

Because some UV light is healthy for us. We generate vitamin D and it's good for our mental health to have sunlight.

People in places that don't get sun for parts of the year have UV lights to help keep them sane.

Why would they do this, and not augment it in some way every once in a while, like add a flying saucer whizzing by.
